We're halfway through the week of our second year of Camp Invention, and kids from around the District and Central Ohio are channeling their inner inventors.
Ninety children (an increase from last year's 30) are given fun, hands-on challenges that encourage creative problem solving, teamwork, entrepreneurship, and innovation. The camp is led by Summit Elementary and Slate Ridge Elementary School teachers, as well as Academy interns from eSTEM, Encore and HS(2).
There are four "classes": Stick to It, Mod Housing, Optibot and PetVet. Each class encourages the kids to work together to come up with new and innovative ways to solve every-day problems.
