Most people don't think waking up at 7am when you are on summer break sounds like fun. But the 15 students on the RCS Summer Maintenance Team are earning internship and work credit for performing basic maintenance around the District.

 

Under the watchful eye of Mr. Underwood and a team of maintenance leaders, the students will be divided into three teams of five and will be dispatched to school buildings in the District to pain, clean, move furniture and other maintenance improvements.

 

Last year was the first time RCS had a student team of maintenance workers and the program was deemed a success and we're excited to get to know this year's crew.
