AG Mike DeWine and HMES Students

Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine paid a visit to Herbert Mills STEM Elementary School to announce the Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) Science School is now available to teachers and students across Ohio.

The BCI Science School is developed with fourth graders in mind and will offer students hands-on, inquiry based learning experiments. The school exposes students to careers in forensic science, criminal investigation and related careers at an early age.

HMES ' Principal Coffey said, "Our teachers and students are thrilled to partner with the BCI Science School for a hands-on, applied learning experience. Not only is this a perfect fit with our climate of student growth and learning, but we are excited to introduce the fourth grade to a variety of career pathways including forensics."
