Meet Ms. Spears in our Teacher Feature!

Ms. Spears has more than just her name in common with the famous pop star, because we think Ms. Spears is a rock star teacher! Here are some things to know about her:

Yes, her name really is Britney Spears. She teaches kindergarten at Rose Hill Elementary School and has been there for three years.

Her favorite subjects to teach are Phonics and Reading.

"I had a great experience in school and had wonderful teachers," says Ms. Spears. "I wanted to be like them. My first grade teacher (Jane Stephenson) had a lot to do with me wanting to be a teacher."

She credits the RHES staff with helping out in a moments notice and says they're very supportive and caring. Ms. Spears also likes to craft and read.
