The traits of a Mustang are: people-friendly, quick and eager to learn, highly intelligent and intolerant of wrongdoing. It’s no wonder Rose Hill Elementary School uses the Mustang as their school mascot, and one could say RHES Principal Mrs. Lewis is a Mustang to a “T!”
Rose Hill Elementary School Principal Mrs. Lewis has been
with the District for three years, but she says Reynoldsburg has always felt
like home. Originally from Northeast Ohio, prior to coming to Reynoldsburg, she
was a principal at Barberton City Schools.
She was inspired to become an educator during her time at
Kent State University, where she admired her professors who instilled the
values of teaching and education in her from the very beginning.
Mrs. Lewis is inspired everyday by her students and their constant love they have for learning. She believes her students are truly amazing. Along with her students, she says her staff, “goes above and beyond for the students, and spends time after hours and weekends ensuring their students will be successful.”
Originally from Rootstown, Ohio she earned her bachelor’s and master’s from Kent State University. Mrs. Lewis loves being a principal at Rose Hill because “it gives me the ability to help people overcome challenges.”
