After deliberating behind closed doors, Reynoldsburg school board members agreed last week to approve a 2.5-percent increase on base salaries for building principals, along with a 2-percent increase for other administrators.
Treasurer Tammy Miller said the salary increases approved after the executive session Jan. 19 would cost the district about $78,000.
In addition, she said, said longevity bonuses were approved for some administrators, amounting to $64,000 and some administrators received performance pay amounts that add up to another $15,000.
Superintendent Tina Thomas-Manning said more than 50 teachers and staff members would also get bonus checks ranging from $1,000 to $4,000 each.
