Thursday (the last day of school!) is Field Day. This is a day that many children have been looking forward to all year. Please help your child have a fun and successful day by helping them remember the following…
1. A plastic water bottle full of ice water
2. Apply sunscreen before sending to school
3. Wear tennis shoes and SOCKS!
Please dress your child appropriately (swim suits and sandals are not allowed). Your child should wear old clothes that can get dirty – tennis shoes, SOCKS, and t-shirts are a must!
If you have signed up to volunteer on Field Day please read below!
• Thank you so much for taking time out of your busy schedule to help out on Field Day! If you didn’t sign up in advance but find some free time in your schedule, just show up and we will put you to work!
• Please be at school promptly at 8:15 a.m. for the volunteer meeting. We will assign stations when you arrive!
• Please bring a water bottle, sunscreen, a smile and be ready to have lots of fun! Please wear RED so that we can easily locate you outside!
• Once again thank you so much for your help and support.
• Field Day could not happen without you.

Parents are welcome to come to Herbert Mills on Thursday before dismissal for our Fourth-Grade “Clap-Out,” when we congratulate our rising fourth graders and send them off on the next stage of their educational journey.
