Meet One of the BOE's Newest Members, Mr. Barga
Robert Barga
Mr. Barga is one of the newest members of the Reynoldsburg City Schools' Board of Education, and is about halfway through his first year representing the students and families of our District. We sat down with Mr. Barga to get to know him!

Q: What is your “day job”
A: I run my own law firm representing clients in almost every area of law.

Q: Why is RCS important to you?
A: I believe that students are our future doctors, lawyers, presidents, mechanics, bosses, and employees, and I believe that we must do our part to make the future better than what we inherited ourselves.

Q: What is your favorite part of being on the BOE?
A: I hope to help build our district into one of the top districts in the state, a shining example for others to follow.

Q: What was your favorite subject in school?
A: All of them, seriously. If forced to choose, Biology.

Q: Tell us about your family, what do you do in your free time?
A: I was recently married  last April (2017), and just welcomed my first born in late January of this year. In the little free time I have that is not spent sleeping, I enjoy reading, making models, geeking out over science fiction and fantasy, and debating constitutional law. I am, or more was, a huge gamer.

Q: Any secret talents, claims to fame, etc,?
A: In high school I not only competed on an oceanography competition team (a team from Ohio that kept making it to nationals!), but also helped train a seal and worked with endangered sea turtles.
