Principal Profile: Ms. Cox Believes in the Magic in Learning
BELL Academy Principal Ms. Cox with StudentsAre you a student interested in business? How about leadership or law? There’s an academy for that! The BELL Academy at the Livingston Campus of Reynoldsburg High School offers students comprehensive college prep curriculum through a rigorous yet supportive learning environment and that all starts with the academy Principal, Ms. Cox. She started in the District as an English teacher in 1994 and became Principal of the BELL Academy, where she enjoys having more direct access to her students.

Ms. Cox runs a tight ship at BELL, where her motto is “no nonsense, no foolishness.” She speaks highly about her staff, describing them as, “energetic, innovative, and passionate about every student that walks through the doors.”

“No matter the circumstance, we are always ready with a smile on our faces to work with students,” says Ms. Cox.

She also believes in the magic of learning, so if she were able to trade places with anyone in the District for a day, she would go to elementary school as a student! “Every grade is unique in their own ways but elementary kids really like school and learning at that age,” says Ms. Cox.
Ms. Cox is from Columbus, Ohio and went to Bishop Hartley in high school and earned her bachelor’s and master’s at The Ohio State University.
