Principal Profile: Ms. Johnson Joins Taylor Road Elementary
It won't just be students experiencing their first day of school Aug. 16. Taylor Road Elementary School has a new principal and she is ready to take on the school year like a true Taylor Road Tornado!
Ms. Johnson was hired to the District earlier this summer and said when she was looking to make a change, it was the diverse experiences of Reynoldsburg City Schools that appealed to her. "In my teaching career, I've had diverse teaching experiences. Reynoldsburg is known for being innovative and having tremendous community support, which is why I am so pleased to be a part of the District," she said.
Ms. Johnson said the TRES staff has been incredibly welcoming and she is excited to be a part of something new. "There are great things coming down the road for us," she said. "I plan to honor the traditions already in place at Taylor Road Elementary School, while embracing 21st Century learning."
Ms. Johnson has a Schnauzer mix named Oscar and her fiancee is a fireman in New Albany, Ohio. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
