Reynoldsburg Track and Field Team Continues Run of Success!
Senior Travis Mark wins State TitleThe Reynoldsburg Track & Field team continued its recent run of success at the State Championships this past weekend and further established themselves as a traditional power in the sport.

Senior Travis Marx led the way, becoming the third Raider boy to win a state title in as many years (Ashton Dulin in the 300 Hurdles in 2015 and Mark Gooden in the Discus last year). Marx became the latest state champion, doing so in the 200M dash and shattering his own school record in the process by running the 200 in 21.18 (previous school record before this year was 21.63).

JJ Cooper also placed in three different events – taking home 4th place in the 100 AND 6th in the 200, while JJ and Travis led the 4X100 relay team to a 3rd place finish. The Raider Boys captured a Top 5 finish in the State as a team for the 3rd straight year!

On the Girls side, Mika Cox took 5th in the 400 and two girls relays also competed in the finals, with the 4×1 team getting onto the podium in 6th place.
