HAMS Students Host TEDX Youth Event
TED Talk at HAMS
When you entered the classroom at Hannah Ashton Middle School on Thursday night, you were transported to a cool, high tech atmosphere. Gone were the desks and chairs, instead you saw the infamous TED talk logo, screens and broadcasting equipment.

Over the course of the year, 7th graders, with the help of Ms. Ford and Mr. Perkins tackled problems that they face every day that affect youth. Once they researched the problem, they presented solutions.

Not only did they present soluitions to the room, but they presented live in TED Talk's TEDx format, which was recorded and submitted for potential TEDX Youth Talks to be broadcast to millions of viewers.

Topics ranged from stress, the importance of art in education, helping visually impared students, gun violence and more.
