Joe Begeny has been with the Reynoldsburg City Schools Board of Education for four years, two of which he has been Board President. We asked Mr. Begeny a few questions so members of our community can get to know him!
Q: What is your “day job”
A: I am an American History Teacher at Beechcroft High School, Columbus City Schools
Q: What is your favorite part of being on the Board of education?
A: My favorite part of being on the BOE is the opportunity to work with parents, administration, and teachers to make our students experiences the best they can be.
Q:What was your favorite subject in school?
A: History of course!
Q: Tell us about your family.
A: I am married to my wonderful wife of 19 years this June, Tori. We have two children, Jonathan, a freshman, and Alex, a 6th grader, both in Reynoldsburg City Schools. Go Raiders!
Q: Can you tell us one fun fact about yourself that many people may not know? .
A: I am a huge science fiction/comic fan, Star Wars, Star Trek, Marvel and D.C. Comics, etc.
