WRMS Wolves Introduce a New Member to Their Pack
Mr. Brooks next to the WRMS WelcomeWolves are known to travel in a pack, as a family. The WRMS Wolves are no different. Their Principal, Mr. Brooks is a familiar face to Reynoldsburg City Schools, as he was Principal for the Waggoner Road Campus for seven years. When the opportunity to bring his leadership skills to WRMS, he seized the opportunity.

“I love how much diversity we have in our District and how we are able to dive in and make decisions,” he said, praising the “strong staff and new teachers,” which are some of the reasons he chose to be at the Middle School.

Mr. Brooks plans to introduce project-based learning to the WRMS curriculum this year. Each team will identify a real-world project and create solutions. For example, Team Boilermakers just read The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind in English Language Arts. Next, the researched energy forms and designed windmills to create an alternative energy source.

Originally from Middletown, Ohio, Mr. Brooks earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degree from Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio. This will be his tenth year with the District.
