Dear Parents,
Three of our specials teachers are shared among multiple buildings again this year. Mrs. Gochenour (Phys. Ed), Mrs. Benedict (Music) and Mrs. King (Art) are responsible for nearly a thousand students. To help these teachers learn our kids' names faster - and protect your child’s clothes from paint in art - we again are asking for you to send in with your child a slightly over-sized t-shirt that they can wear over their clothes for gym, and art. These t-shirts will be kept at school and their name will be added to them. It does not need to be a new shirt! It's best if the t-shirt easily fits over their clothing, but isn’t too large that it’s in their way when they play games in gym. We don’t want it to be a safety concern. Ideally, the t-shirt should be plain, preferably white, yellow, or a light color. If it has writing on it or a picture, we can always turn it inside out. We thank you for your support with this and your understanding. We would appreciate the t-shirts being brought in no later than Friday, September 1st. You can add your child’s name to the tag if you would like, but the teachers will be writing the child's name on the shirts.
Also...Don’t forget tennis shoes for Phys Ed....every Monday or Friday (according to their class schedule).
