Road Construction Projects Impact Traffic at Two Schools
Road Construction Projects Impact Traffic at Two Schools Road construction will slow traffic during the first week of school and beyond at both the Livingston campus and Slate Ridge Elementary. Parents and students need to allow extra time for morning arrival and afternoon dismissal at both schools.

The latest update from the City of Reynoldsburg office shows Livingston Ave. has been designated a temporary "work zone" between Brice Rd. and Deville. Significant construction is underway on both sides of the roadway including sidewalks. In some areas the sidewalks remain untouched or new sidewalks have been poured, but other areas are just dirt or stone pathways.

Please note that the speed limit has been reduced to 25 MPH in the construction zone. Reynoldsburg police will be monitoring this area closely. All of the Livingston Ave. entrances remain open to the campus.

Police officers will be stationed at the Rosehill intersection to direct traffic and will be working with school safety officers to move walking students away from this intersection. Students are encouraged to cross Livingston at Redwood or Deville.

We ask that you give yourself extra time in the morning so students arrive on time for the start of the school day, as well as picking up students in the afternoon.

Across town, administrators at Slate Ridge developed a new morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up plan that uses the Harvestmoon Drive entrance while crews work on Taylor Road. Currently, the Taylor Road entrance is closed, but is expected to reopen later this year.
