A string quartet whose repertoire ranges from Radiohead to a complete rendition of Pink Floyd's The Wall is coming to Reynoldsburg for a special performance co-hosted by the student orchestras of RHS and the Wellington School. The concert is at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 15, in the auditorium at Reynoldsburg High School.
The Section Quartet has collaborated on stage and in the studio with diverse artists such as Foo Fighters, Fiona Apple, Snow Patrol, Goo Goo Dolls, Devendra Banhart, Sam Phillips, Jakob Dylan, Christina Aguilera, Sean Lennon, Maroon 5, The Twilight Singers, A Perfect Circle, James Blunt, Ryan Adams, Rilo Kiley, Chantal Kreviazuk, Grant-Lee Phillips and Dr. Dre.
Branching into the film world, The Section Quartet recently scored Drew Barrymore’s directorial debut, Whip It.
The Reynoldsburg and Wellington orchestras will collaborate with the professional group in afternoon workshops. The results will be performed for the public at the concert.
