3rd Grade!
May 3rd-Terra Nova Tests- these are two short tests.
May 5th- Mrs. Aditatar, Mrs. Gibson, and all third grade teachers will be at a STEM Watershed Training.
May 11th- Field Trip to Blacklick Woods! We will need volunteers.
May 17th- Field Day in the morning. This is a Monday. Mrs. Burns still needs volunteers. Please email me if you would like to help.
May 20th- Celebration of Learning 6:30-7:30 pm
May 31st- no school: Memorial Day
June 1st- 3rd and 4th Grade Picnic: Our class needs to bring 2 liters of soda and plastic cups.
June 3rd- Last Day Picnic- Parents are welcome to come and eat lunch with their children, receive the final report card, and then take their kids home with them.
Math: We are currently working in Unit 10, which is a measurement review. We are exploring volume and liquid capacity.
Reading: Your child may have switched reading groups. It is fun for kids to have a different teacher for a change. There are many activities happening school wide, during this last month, so we occasionally have to cancel reading groups. However, we will still be doing literacy activities in the classroom when that happens.
Please be sure to sign your child's planner each night, as they complete the homework.
