March 15-19

The Ohio Achievement Test is quickly approaching and we are working hard to prepare for it. The reading OAT will be Monday, April 19th and the math will be April 21st. To continue prepare for the OAT test, I am sending home OAT practice cards. The time spent on OAT cards can count toward your child's reading calendar time. Please remind your child not to write on these cards. In each bag, I have included a pack of post-it notes for them to write their answers on. Please sign the answer post -its, each night. It is very important to bring the cards back each day, if your child forgets their cards they will miss recess time.

Leprechaun traps are due on Wednesday, March 17th. I sent home a rubric last week, please be sure that your child uses at least 2 simple machines in their project. Don't forget to have them write a paragraph about how their trap works.
