Welcome to Second Grade!
Please visit our second grade web page. This will be the newsletter this year and will be updated monthly. Spelling words can be found in the word building section of that page.
We will be busy working on our schedule and routines in class. There are many things a second grader needs to get finished in a day including reading, math, science or social studies, phonics, calendar, handwriting, and writing. We also have special programs we are doing such as Fantastic Five and Mastering Math Facts. We have a very busy year ahead of us!

Sending in a note is the best way to contact me. I am a very visual person and a note in front of me will remind me throughout the day that I need to respond. Please be patient because my planning time is only before school and some days I have meetings and will not be able to get back with you until the next school day.
