The Franklin County Board of Health will conduct H1N1 vaccination clinics for students and staff at Reynoldsburg elementary schools next week.

Students MUST return completed permission forms on their scheduled date in order to get the vaccination.  The Board of Health has provided forms and additional information about vaccine, and those documents were sent home with students on Thursday.

The clinic schedule is as follows:

Early dismissal scheduled Wednesday, Feb. 24

Reynoldsburg City Schools will be dismissing students early on Feb. 24, March 24, and April 28 so that our teachers and staff can receive valuable professional development.  On these three days, students will be dismissed two hours early.  If your child is a car-rider, please make arrangements for them to be picked up when students are dismissed on those days.

Third-grade creek study featured in Soil & Water newsletter

The Franklin County Soil and Water Conservation District put a spotlight on the work of Reynoldsburg teachers and students in its January newsletter, "Frankly Speaking."

FCSWC has been a key partner of Reynoldsburg schools in the past year as third grade students explored Blacklick Creek and its tributaries. The program was funded by a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) grant from the Ohio Partnership for Continued Learning.

The partnership has led to programs and activities for other grades too, involving about 2,000 Reynoldsburg students in all.
