H1N1 vaccine available for upper grades March 1-3

The Franklin County Board of Health will provide free H1N1 vaccinations at Reynoldsburg middle, junior high and high schools the first week of March.  Students must return permission forms signed by their parents or guardians in order to receive the vaccine.

Information packets, including the permission forms, will be provided to students prior to the administration dates.  The schedule is as follows:

Early dismissal scheduled Wednesday, Feb. 24

Reynoldsburg City Schools will be dismissing students early on Feb. 24, March 24, and April 28 so that our teachers and staff can receive valuable professional development.  On these three days, students will be dismissed two hours early.  If your child is a car-rider, please make arrangements for them to be picked up when students are dismissed on those days.

WRMS Read-A-Thon a huge success

The students at WRMS participated in their first Read-A-Thon on Friday, Feb. 12. The entire student body and staff read from 1:00-2:30 pm.

The WRMS PTO assisted in organizing the event and also scheduled "surprise guest" readers for the afternoon. The students were surprised by First Lady Strickland; Chief Dickerson, Jefferson Township fire chief; Chief Suciu, Reynoldsburg Police Chief; Mayor Mc Cloud, Reynoldsburg Mayor; Mr. Dackin, Reynoldsburg Schools superintendent; and three Ohio State Rose Bowl Champion Football players.
