On Friday, Feb. 12, the students at WRMS will be surprised by some of the "Guest Readers" during their Read-A-Thon. From 1 - 2:30 p.m., the entire student body and staff will be participating in a Read-A-Thon to benefit programs supported by the staff and WRMS PTO.
As a bonus, the PTO has invited special guests from the central Ohio area to come to the school to read with the students.
The students are getting monetary sponsors to support them during the Read-A-Thon. There will be a "Reading Gear" raffle held that day to help get the students "Geared-Up" to read!
The Reynoldsburg Board of Education approved two negotiated contracts Tuesday, enacting complete pay freezes for all district employees. The freeze includes both step increases and cost-of-living increases with no provisions to "make up" the sacrifices in the next rounds of contract negotiations.
