Free & Reduced Meals

Apply Online for Meal Benefits

It is important for families to apply for meal assistance. This is what helps determine how much funding the District gets for programs that help children, families, teachers and administrators.

Three Reasons To Apply For Free & Reduced School Meals

You can now apply online for your children to receive free and reduced price school meals. Your application will be sent from a secure website directly to Reynoldsburg City Schools. Your personal information remains confidential and secure.

Once your application has been received, your eligibility will instantly be determined.

The online application has been designed to make it easy for you to know exactly what information you will need to guide you through the process.

TO APPLY:

  1. Go to www.PayschoolsCentral.com
  2. Click the option to register and set up your account
  3. Once your account is set up, you will need to know the six digit Student ID number for each child on the application. This ID number is found in Power School under your parent portal log-in. Additionally, many of the students know their ID number and may be able to provide that to you. If you are unable to locate this ID number through one of the methods listed, please feel free to call your child’s school or the Food Service office at 614-501-1030.

The online application may be completed on a laptop, desktop computer or mobile device.

Eligibility for Free Meals: Please remember that all children in households receiving benefits from the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) or Ohio Works First (OWF); foster children that are under the legal responsibility of a foster care agency or court; children participating in their school’s Head Start program; and children who meet the definition of homeless, runaway, or migrant are eligible for free meals.

2026 Summer EBT (SUN Bucks) Information

If your children currently receive Free or Reduced-Price Meals at Reynoldsburg City Schools, they will automatically qualify for the Summer EBT (SUN Bucks) program. You do not need to complete an application. Your children will be automatically enrolled.

The SUN Bucks program helps families buy food during the summer when school is not in session.

Each eligible child will receive $120 total ($40 per month for three months) on a card that can be used to purchase food at grocery stores, farmers' markets, and other authorized retailers.

Benefits will be mailed to your home or added to your current EBT card in June. Please note that not all families will receive their benefits on the same day.

Important Reminders:

• If your address has changed, please make sure your current address is on file with the school district in PowerSchool or contact the Welcome Center at 614-501-1033.
• If you receive SNAP or Medicaid and your address has changed, make sure your address is updated with Job and Family Services.
• Beginning this summer, the state will not replace SUN Bucks cards that are sent to the wrong address.
• If you receive duplicate cards or more than $120 per eligible child, please do not use the extra benefits.

Not Currently Receiving Free or Reduced Meals?

If your household income is within the eligibility guidelines, your children may still qualify. You can apply by completing a Free or Reduced-Price Meal Application.  Apply online here: www.PayschoolsCentral.com.

Please submit your application by April 24 to receive benefits this summer. If you need help completing an application or have questions, please contact Food Services at 614-501-1211.

Free Summer Lunch

Children 18 years old and younger can also receive free lunch in June at the Herbert Mills Elementary Summer Meal Site.  June 1 – July 2, Monday – Friday, 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM.

If you are eligible but do not wish to participate in the SUN Bucks program, please contact Carla O’Quin in Food Service at 614-501-1211.
