We welcome you to Reynoldsburg City Schools, where we are empowering minds through critical thinking and inspiring success through academic achievement.

2026-2027 Registration NOW OPEN!

Registrations received after July 31st are NOT likely to be assigned to a class or schedule for the first week of school. The first day of school is August 20th, 2026. Kindergarten must be 5 by August 20th, 2026, to enroll.

New families and students, please complete your registration as soon as possible, ideally by the end of June. This will ensure you receive summer communications and that your students are scheduled for the first day of school.

You MUST live in the Reynoldsburg City School District to enroll. We DO NOT have Open Enrollment. If you are unsure of your district, please use the Ohio School District Finder before moving forward.

Peer Model Enrollment for 2025-2026 is currently CLOSED. All openings have been filled at this time. If openings become available for the 2025-2026 school year, they will be posted along with the application on the website.

2026-2027 Pre-School Registration opens February 2nd, 2026. Limited Spots Available. Students are waitlisted in the order the registration is received.

Students must turn 3 by August 20th, 2026.

Simplified Steps for Enrollment:

Complete Registration Packet (This can take 30 + minutes to complete per packet). Please go to the Digital Packet Tab to obtain the Packet.

Additionally you will be given an ESC- Preschool Packet that will need filled out and turned into the ESC Preschool to officially be placed on the Waitlist for the 2026-2027 school year. Students are waitlisted in the order that registration is received.

Kindergarten Enrollment Information

Kindergarten Age Requirement: Must be five (5) years of age by the District's first day of school, (8/20/2026) to be eligible to enroll for kindergarten for the 2026-2027 school year. Is your child ready for kindergarten?

A legal guardian MUST be present during step three. If steps one and two are not complete, you will be asked to return at a later date.

Step One: Complete Digital Registration Packet (Email or Print)

Please complete a digital registration packet. This can be completed at home or using the Welcome Center computers. Please note that registration is NOT done online.

You may print your completed packet at home before your appointment or email a PDF version to welcomecenter@reyn.org the day you plan to come to the Welcome Center and staff will print it out for you.

If you are having issues with editing on a phone, tablet, or computer. Please download the packet and open it with a free PDF app such as Adobe Acrobat Reader.

Step Two: Collect All Required Documents

Gather the required documents below and all others that may apply before making an appointment or coming to the Welcome Center.

*You may utilize the computers at the Welcome Center to print any digital documents you may have.

We will NOT take any copies of birth certificates or legal documents

Required Documents:

1. Student's ORIGINAL birth certificate or receipt of purchase of birth certificate

2. Immunizations : Ohio Immunization Requirements K-12th

3. Custodial parent(s) photo ID

4. Current utility bill or official mail

5. Lease or mortgage statement

Custody, Guardianship & Parental Rights

If Divorced: Please bring a copy of your Divorce Decree.

If You Have a Court-Order Shared Parenting Plan: Please bring a copy of both the Shared Parenting Plan and Shared Parenting Decree.

Step Three: Walk-In or Make an Appointment Using Calendly

Custodial Parent or Guardian MUST bring all required documents and any others that may apply from the enrollment document checklist.

The registration packet must be filled out before your appointment. A registration packet takes about 20-30 minutes per student to fill out. Spanish, French, and Portuguese paper packets are available upon request.

Walk-In Hours: M-F, 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

We serve guests who make an appointment at the time of their appointment and walk in on a first-come, first-served basis.

The last person will be seen at 3:45 p.m., no matter the time signed in.

Please be certain that you have ALL required documents with you.

Incomplete enrollment registration will NOT be accepted for any reason.

We have computers and printers to use for your convenience for any documentation you need printed.

Public Assistance

Reynoldsburg City School families who have students enrolled with the District can apply for public assistance benefits like food assistance and Medicaid at the RCS Welcome Center on Thursdays only.

A case manager is stationed here on Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

They will assist those on a first-come, first-served basis (limited to 5 families per day).

You MUST have a student who is currently enrolled at Reynoldsburg City Schools to come to this location.

Sign-up will be available upon the applicant's arrival until all slots are full.

Appointments for future dates might be needed.
