Scary Movie 5 is an upcoming horror, comedy, and parody film and is also the 5th movie of the Scary Movie sequence. The movie came out on April 12, 2013. The movie parodies Paranormal Activity, Mama, the Cabin in the Woods, Evil Dead, Inception, Sinister, Black Swan, Rise of the Planet of the Apes, Insidious, and Madea from Tyler Perry. Scary Movie received almost universally bad reviews and opened in the number 2 earnings position at the box office. It stars, Ashley Tisdale, Simon Rex, Erica Ash, Molly Shannon, Heather Locklear, J.P. Manoux, Jerry O’Connell, Charlie Sheen, Lindsay Lohan, and James L. Venable. Their budget was $20 million and at the box office they hit $14,157,367.
It is about a couple that starts to go through some weird stuff after bringing their new born son home from the hospital. When they put some surveillance cameras up and a team of experts they begin to learn they are being stalked by a demon. Considering the negative reviews, I would probably wait until it comes out on DVD to see it.
