Mrs. Mcglumphy is a well-qualified teacher who can teach many subjects. However, here at HAMS she is our Art Teacher.  At Waggoner Road Middle School she is a Language Arts teacher. Mrs. McGlumphy teaches several classes at HAMS in the morning, goes to WRMS in the middle of the day and comes back to HAMS for specials at the end of the day.

Something you may not know about her is that she used be a science editor for MacMillan McGraw–Hill. She also worked at Taylor Road Elementary for 20 years and taught all subjects to 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. She openly admits to loving her job, she says she loves kids.

In the morning Mrs. McGlumphy teaches 5th and 6th grade Art.  She has 8th graders for electives at the end of the day.  The projects she shares with her students are really cool.  She has done projects like weaving, making 3-D paper sculptures, bowls made from magazine pages as well as geometric designs, painting, drawing and paper mosiacs.  She is very creative and makes her class fun for everyone.
