Garage Band Projects

Mr.Shaw, the Garage Band teacher, is showing the students how to create a mix tape. They are also learning how to make the mix tapes longer. A mix tape is when you mix a bunch of instruments sounds, add a beat then add vocals. Students have to sing and record their voice and put all these together for the final product.

Some students said Garage Band is fun and creative but isn’t as easy as you might think. Garage Band class is offered as an elective to 7th grade students last period of they day for nine weeks. During the course the garage band will be creating RAPS, Anti-Bullying Projects and stories set to music.  Look for some of their projects posted on the Garage Band page.
