Meet Crush

Crush, a Greek Tortoise that is Mr. Hartley’s class pet. They decided to get a class pet because Mr. Hartley said that most of his favorite teachers had class pets when he was in school and he wanted to do the same. They decided to get a turtle by doing a class vote and a turtle got the most, with fish coming in second. They did the same for the name, with Scooter coming in second.
Greek Tortises can live up to 80 years! That’s about as long as a human lives! Crush is a very big fruit lover! Sometimes students bring back some of the fruit from their lunch and share it with Crush.
