Mrs. Cotrell

Mrs. Cottrell is a new teacher at HAMS this year. She is nice and very pretty. Her favorite color is purple and she enjoys being outdoors, running with her husband, and shopping.

Mrs. Cottrell teaches 5th through 8th grade special education. She chose to teach that because she likes working 1 on 1 with students and helping them improve basic skills like reading and math. Before she taught at HAMS she taught for 7 years at the Reynoldsburg High School. Mrs.Lutz's recommended her to teach at HAMS. She chose to teach at HAMS because she knows a lot of staff and because our school has a good reputation for staff and students. She really likes HAMS so far this year and enjoys what she's doing. She says shes happy because she gets to stay with her kids all day.

As a kid she really loved school. She is married and has a 2 year old son and a daughter on the way, due October 1st. She wants her kids to know, work hard now, because it will pay off in the future.

Mrs. Cottrell will be on materinty leave for a while but when she returns be sure to introduce yourself to her.
