DLWCS Recognizes Dedicated Staff

DLWCS Recognizes Dedicated Staff

Reynoldsburg City Schools is proud to recognize the dedicated staff members who go above and beyond each day to support our students, families, and schools. The Diverse Learners & Whole Child Supports department launched its Monthly Recognition Program this school year to celebrate team members who demonstrate outstanding commitment, collaboration, and service. Each month, one staff member is nominated by a peer or administrator and publicly honored for their contributions.

This program reflects our belief that we can maintain excellent services for students while continuing to grow and improve as a district. It also supports the Organizational Culture focus area of the Reynoldsburg 2025 to 2030 Strategic Plan, which calls for a positive, caring environment where staff feel valued and supported.

April Honoree: Sam, School Psychologist

Sam, RCS School Psychologist

Sam serves students and staff across multiple Reynoldsburg school buildings, often traveling more than an hour to get to work. Sam has a caring personality and has demonstrated exceptional dedication through his work, completing Evaluation Team Reports. He provides ongoing support to students and staff throughout the District. His commitment to showing up, day in and day out, makes a real difference in the lives of the students he serves.

May Honoree: Patty, Department Secretary

Patty, DLWCS Secretary

Patty is the organizational cornerstone of the Diverse Learners & Whole Child Supports department. She manages student enrollments, supports family engagement, and ensures the department remains in compliance with state and federal requirements. A long-time Reynoldsburg City Schools employee, Patty brings experience, reliability, and care to everything she does. We are grateful for her steady presence and her continued dedication to our students and families.

Congratulations to Sam and Patty on this well-deserved recognition. Thank you for your service to the students, families, and staff of Reynoldsburg City Schools.

Looking Ahead: Growing the Program

As we close out the 2025- 2026 school year, we are proud of what this recognition program has become and excited about what is next. Beginning in the 2026-27 school year, we hope to expand the program to honor more than one staff member each month, so that even more of the exceptional people who serve our students and families receive the recognition they deserve.
