In this edition of the RCS Building Spotlight Series, we highlight Waggoner Road Junior High School (WRJH), which hosted the Board of Education meeting November 15, 2022.

The WRJH building leadership team strives to assist the approximately 570 students in grades 7-8 achieve and live by the school’s mission “to create a positive, safe, and equitable environment that addresses the unique needs of our students and empowers them to take ownership of their academic and personal growth in order to become informed and compassionate global citizens.”

Eight students were recently honored in the first-ever “Raiders of the Quarter” at the school. Students were selected by their teachers for excelling in multiple ways, including academic performance, behavior and contributions to WRJH. Congratulations to each of the winners!
