Rock Star Teachers

Our teachers work tirelessly for our students. To highlight those who exude the competencies outlined in our Portrait of an Educator, teachers are nominated by their peers as “Rock Star Teachers.”

Here are the rock stars making a difference in the classroom and the community, and a quote from their nomination:

Kelsi Adams, Taylor Road Elementary
“Kelsi has offered to allow other teachers to observe her, which is an amazing way for others to see how a specialized classroom can look.”

April Bragg, Reynoldsburg High School – Livingston Campus
“There is not one student in Ms. Bragg's class that she does not take her time to get to know personally.”

Lindsay Cotton, French Run Elementary
“Mrs. Cotton strives to include all student’s diversity to make an inclusive classroom.”

April Oates, Hannah Ashton Middle School
“Mrs. Oates continually goes above and beyond with HAMS students by consistently connecting them with stakeholders and providing real-world, culturally literate experiences.”

Kim Nadeau, Waggoner Road Middle School
“Kim works to engage and build relationships with not only her students, but other students that she engages with near her classroom and in the building …”

Tiffany Schmitz, Herbert Mills STEAM Elementary
“Tiffany stays informed of her students' cultural needs … she creates an integrated classroom, working with multiple levels of different individuals with various educational needs.”

Congratulations to each winner!
