In service of developing our students into the thoughtful leaders of tomorrow, Reynoldsburg High School offers a variety of unique opportunities.
The 7 Mindsets program is a curriculum that focuses on providing mindset-based and mental health learning solutions to guide our students towards a more positive well-being. It offers a “dynamic blend of interactive learning, engaging activities, and a holistic approach that prioritizes student voice and reflection” that also aligns with college and career readiness.
Students taking Leaders In Training (LIT) studies currently use the program, however this is not where student engagement ends. Peers Educating Peers is a group of students who use their newfound knowledge to support those around them. They often offer “Chat & Chews” during lunch periods and present at other District schools.
Participating students have quickly built up a reputation for their amazing work, so much so that they were invited by 7 Mindsets to their international Ultimate Life Summit in Orlando, Florida.
Eight current students, along with three recent graduates serving as guides, were offered full tuition scholarships, covering everything but air travel. The trip also included entry to Disney World.
On the way back from the summit, students reflected on their experience.
7 Mindsets enjoyed the perspectives of our students and invited them to speak at their Aug. 29 monthly webinar, where they answered a variety of questions. You can view the recording here.
