Reynoldsburg Students Keep Showing Expertise at Competition

Recently, we have shared web stories showcasing the great work our Reynoldsburg students are doing over at Eastland-Fairfield. Whether in SkillsUSA or Business Professionals of America (BPA) competitions, they’ve been showcasing their skills and making a name for themselves.

With qualifiers complete, here is how our students are faring at the state level.

BPA:

Health Administration: Mary Camara (Sr., Medical Office) - Placed first in the state and qualified for the BPA National Leadership Conference!

Software Engineering: Programming & Software Development seniors, Haben Andemariam and Baslel Etissa - Received a top-10 national ranking in their competition alongside their two other teammates. They will advance to the national leadership conference to compete for the national title!Haben and Baslel posing at the state competition

Fundamental Word Processing: Samantha Hamilton (Sr., Medical Office) - Placed 8th in the state and qualified for the BPA National Leadership Conference!

Basic Office Systems & Procedures: Tania Duran Garcia (Jr., Medical Office) - Placed 8th in the state and qualified for the BPA National Leadership Conference!

Advanced Spreadsheets: Binam Magar (Sr., Programming & Software Development) - Placed top 10 in the state!

Java Programming:

Haben Andemariam (Sr., Programming & Software Development) - Placed 8th and qualified for the BPA National Leadership Conference!

Baslel Etissa (Sr., Programming & Software Development) - Placed top 10 in the state!

Small Business Management Team

Melania Budzevska, Ashmin Siwakoti and Brenden Woodfork (Jrs., Programming & Software Development) - Placed 2nd in the state and qualified for the BPA National Leadership Conference alongside one other team member!

SkillsUSA:

Promotional Bulletin Design: Julian Stubbs (Jr., Graphic Design) and her team — Crowned state champions and will advance to SkillsUSA Nationals

Maimouna Diallo (Jr., Pre-Nursing) was elected to serve as a state officer for the 2025-26 academic school year.
