March 17, 2020
Dear Reynoldsburg City Schools Families,
Staff and Community,
In
an effort to support our community and identify essential resources while the
COVID19, or coronavirus, pandemic impacts Ohio, we have set up a Support Line
for anyone in need of information or resources. The Support Line will open
tomorrow, Wednesday, March 18.
The
number is 614-501-1020 and will be
open Monday-Friday from 8:30am-3:30pm, even during Spring Break March 23-27.
Please
feel free to call this number if you are looking for resources like food
pantries, clothing banks, unemployment information and more. A Reynoldsburg
City Schools staff member will take your calls and attempt to identify
community resources that would be available to connect with you for your needs.
Depending
on call volume, it may take a few moments for us to help you. Please be patient
as we work to provide as much information as possible in a timely manner.
This
is a constantly evolving situation and we will be doing our best to provide our
students, staff and families with the most current updates available as it
pertains to our school district. During this unprecedented time, we need to
exhibit calm, grace, patience, and understanding as we navigate this together. We
are providing this guidance to assist us in maintaining some normalcy through
this process.
Visit
the CDC website for information on COVID19
and ways to stay healthy.
This crisis
impacts the entire state, along with the nation and the world. We thank everyone
for your cooperation and understanding during this very unusual and challenging
time. We encourage you to take care of yourselves, your loved ones and to
exercise the appropriate precautions.
Sincerely,
Melvin J. Brown
Superintendent
Reynoldsburg City Schools
