What does equity really mean? Does it mean the same thing to different groups of people? If it means different things to different people, how might that impact the ways individuals view public problems as well as potential solutions to those problems? RHS' eSTEM Teachers Dr. Patricia Hanna and Blake Clowes created a Deeper Learning experience that gave their students an opportunity to study equity through the lens of various cultures. To demonstrate their mastery of solving policy problems involving equity, student groups will collaborate, create, and deliver a formal presentation to be given to an authentic audience at a Reynoldsburg Town Hall.
Dr. Patricia Hanna and Blake Clowes will share a Deeper Learning Grant of $500 to be used towards developing another Deeper Learning Experience for his students next year!
