Reynoldsburg City Schools Board of Education Appoints Angele Latham as Treasurer
Latham begins as Deputy Treasurer for the District October 1, 2021

REYNOLDSBURG, Ohio – Last night during a Special Board of Education meeting, the Reynoldsburg City Schools Board of Education appointed Angele Latham as Treasurer. Latham will join RCS as Deputy Treasurer on October 1, 2021, where she will work alongside current Treasurer Tammira Miller, who is retiring at the end of the calendar year.

“I am so pleased to welcome Angele to our Raider family,” said Debbie Dunlap, president of the Reynoldsburg City Schools Board of Education. “While we were fortunate enough to have nine very qualified candidates apply for our Treasurer's position, I am confident that Angele is the perfect fit for the job. She is experienced, ethical, student-focused, and an advocate for public education. Longtime Treasurer Tammy Miller's shoes will definitely be hard to fill, but Angele is extremely qualified and is ready to take on the innovative and purposeful work that we are so proud of here in Reynoldsburg."

“We are so pleased and excited with the Board’s decision to bring someone to our District to succeed the excellence of Tammy Miller who also highly values trust and collegiality,” said RCS Superintendent Dr. Melvin J. Brown. “Like Mrs. Miller, Angele brings fiscal accountability coupled with an understanding of the importance of finances and academics working together focused on our students. I look forward to her joining our team!”
Latham is a skilled accounting professional with extensive budgeting, forecasting and financial management experience. She is team-oriented and an adept problem-solver with a “people-first” approach. She is successful at executing financial plans, building policies and monitoring regulatory issues.

“I am looking forward to serving as the next Treasurer for Reynoldsburg City Schools,” said Latham. “I am excited to work with the Board of Education, Dr. Brown, Tammy Miller, the administration, and staff to continue the legacy of sound financial management and academic achievement at RCS.”

Latham joins Reynoldsburg City Schools after spending more than five years with the Cleveland Metropolitan School District. Most recently, she was the Executive Director, Strategic Planning, Financial Service and Grants, where she managed a team responsible for budget planning, development and execution of all district expenditures.

Latham will be responsible for the overall financial forecasting, planning and budgeting for Reynoldsburg City Schools. She will oversee audits, grant management and monitor all District spending.

Latham is a graduate of Cleveland State University, where she earned her MBA in Accounting. She holds her Ohio School Treasurer License as well as a Certificate in Education Finance from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. In her free time, Latham enjoys watching football, cooking, traveling and spending time with her family.

Latham will become Treasurer for Reynoldsburg City Schools on January 1, 2022.
