Voting Open for Columbus Parent Magazine's Teacher of the Year
TOTY 2022
Once again, Reynoldsburg City Schools' Teachers have been nominated by parents, students and staff for Columbus Parent Magazine's Teacher of the Year. Congratulations to Herbert Mills STEAM Elementary School Teacher Ms. Angela Forino, Taylor Road Elementary School Teacher Ms. Heather Slisher and Waggoner Road Junior High School Teacher Ms. Brianna Lawless.

Reynoldsburg City Schools is no stranger to having at least one Teacher of the Year in the District, and twice two teachers earned the recognition in the same year (Ms. Crego at Taylor Road Elementary School and Mr. Niedermeyer at STEM Middle at Baldwin Road in 2018 and Ms. Martin at Taylor Road Elementary School and Mr. Coley at Reynoldsburg High School in 2020).

"We are extremely proud of Ms. Lawless for her Teacher of the Year nomination and are excited to have her represent Waggoner Road Junior High School," said Principal Brady Harrison. "Ms. Lawless builds positive relationships with her students, provides quality instruction, and works to improve each and every day, which are all qualities we strive to have at WRJH."

"We are always super excited when one of our teachers gets nominated by a parent," said Taylor Road Elementary School Principal Jamie Johnson. "While we think our teachers are amazing it is always extra special when parents recognize them as well. We'd like to congratulate Ms. Slisher on her Teacher of the Year nomination."

"I am so very proud of Mrs. Forino," said Herbert Mills STEAM Elementary School Principal Ali McMannis. "She is a part of the most amazing staff and school. We are very excited about this acknowledgement and are rooting for Mrs. Forino for Teacher of the Year!"

Cast your ballot and read the nominations between now and March 18 for one of our three outstanding teachers!
