COTA Preps CCLC Students for Field Trip
COTA Class with Ms. Jenny
"Can you eat or drink on a COTA bus?" (No.) "Do you have to be at a COTA bus stop to get picked up?" (Yes.) Questions like this and more filled the inside of a COTA bus at RHS' Summit Campus as our Cross-Categorical Learning Center students prepared for a field trip to the North Market.

Ms. Jenny, from COTA, said the main goal for passengers on the bus is to act in a safe and mature manner. She explained that if a passenger needs help, the first person to turn to is the bus driver. Students learned about the COTA App, that a one-way fare is $2 and a day pass is $4.50. You can even pay your fare in pennies.  "You might slow the line down, but if that's all you have, we accept pennies," said Ms. Jenny.

Students are traveling to the North Market where they will get on the COTA bus, disembark and have lunch and then return to school. COTA is providing the passes for the field trip.
