Teresa has a B.A. from Ohio State University and an M.B.A. from Otterbein University. She has worked in corporate technology for over 15 years, most of it in a project management role.
She has been an active volunteer in the District for nearly 10 years. She looks forward to taking her passion into this new role.

Kendra McKay has been a Reynoldsburg resident since 2007. She is married with two children. Her oldest son is a 2024 Reynoldsburg Graduate and her youngest attends Reynoldsburg High School. Mrs. McKay is originally from Niles, Ohio, and received her Bachelor of Arts from Kent State University. She has enjoyed being the Reynoldsburg Band Booster President and a Cub Scout leader, she has also been active in the various PTO’s in the schools that her sons attended. In her free time, Mrs. McKay enjoys going to her son’s various sporting and band events as well as spending time with her family and friends.

Now serving his third term on the Board, Neal grew up in Texas, earning his BA at the University of Texas at Austin. He moved to Ohio in 1992, and over the years gradually became a Buckeye: meeting and marrying his wife Amanda; settling in Reynoldsburg in 1999; graduating with a PhD in linguistics from Ohio State University in 2002. He and Amanda have two sons, who both attended Reynoldsburg Schools from kindergarten; graduated from Reynoldsburg High School in 2017 and 2019; and went on to study at OSU. Neal works at the Intercultural English Language Programs in the College of Education and Human Ecology at OSU, where he teaches academic writing, as well as spoken English for international teaching assistants. He has developed a passion for the history of Reynoldsburg Schools, and over the past several years has created interactive maps of District and City boundaries; written a history covering 75 years of the District’s successes and failures with tax levies; digitized all of the surviving Board minutes from 1912-1951 to be stored with those that were already in digital form.

Shana has been an active volunteer over the past few years. She was treasurer for her children’s PTO and served the District’s DEI Committee. She has volunteered at a number of schools in the District and has attended school board meetings regularly as a community member. She is a LEAD Ohio graduate and served as treasurer for the levy committee when it was on the ballot in November 2024.
Currently, she is a caregiver, on two boards of directors for nonprofits in central Ohio, and participating in an internship.

Kirby Reed Samuell II is a long-time Reynoldsburg resident and community advocate. He and his husband, Tom, are parents to a large family, with children who have attended Reynoldsburg Schools across many years. Over the past four years, one of their sons has graduated from Reynoldsburg High School each year, and they currently have a freshman and a sophomore continuing their education in the District.
Kirby has been actively involved in youth-focused service, education advocacy, and community leadership. His work has centered on supporting children and families, strengthening public institutions, and promoting thoughtful, transparent decision-making.
Kirby says he is honored to serve on the Reynoldsburg Board of Education and looks forward to working collaboratively with fellow Board members, educators, families, and the community to support strong schools and positive outcomes for every student.
