Can you imagine your world being filled with vampires? Well, if you cannot imagine it, then you can watch it on the big screen on February 7, 2014. The film is a fantasy adventure film based on the novel Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead. If you are an action, romance, and thriller type of person than this will be the perfect movie for you.

Vampire Academy focuses around a 17 year old girl, Rose, who is half human/vampire, a guardian-in-training of Moroi also known as Dhampir and she is also somewhat rebellious. Rose must carry on her legacy to protect Moroi (a peaceful mortal vampire) from immortal vampires (bad guys) which is also known as the Strigoi. Rose and Lissa who is her best friend and also a royal vampire princess, have been on the run and are finally captured and taken back to St. Vladimir’s Academy where they think that their lives are in danger. There are also little problems and romance that play along in the timeline.

Lissa has a hard time reclaiming her reputation and Rose trains with Dimitri who is her mentor, then starts to develop feelings for him and soon becomes her love-interest. As the film goes on, Rose will sacrifice everything to protect Lissa and guarantee her place as Lissa’s guardian so she can fortify Lissa from those who want to use her from within the Academy and Strigoi who hunt her and her kind from outside its sacred place.

Vampire Academy seems like an astounding film that is filled with action, drama, romance, and more all in one. So I cannot wait until it comes out. I will definitely be going to see it and if you are into vampires but with a modern day twist to it, then you will definitely want to go see it. I am excited to see this film.
