RCS is Hiring Students for the Summer!

Summer Maintenance

For the third year in a row, Reynoldsburg City Schools is looking to hire students who are juniors or seniors and at least 16 years old for the summer of 2019 to perform general maintenance of the District's buildings. This is a popular summer job for students, who can earn $9.50/hour and enjoy excellent working conditions and camaraderie amongst fellow students.

Typical work is 40 hours a week unless the student has obligations such as a sport, band, or a scheduled vacation. In those cases, a revised schedule will be worked out to accommodate the needs of the students on an individual basis.

A total of 15 students will be hired, and last year there were more than 30 applicants, more than half of the 15 were returning from the previous summer.

If this sounds like a job for you, download the application, or pick one up from your Academy Secretary. Applications are due to your Academy Office no later than April 12, 2019. Interviews will be the week of April 23 and the span of work will be May 28- August 19.

Students may also apply for internship credit where they can put new knowledge and skills to use in a work environment. More details about the employment requirements and how to apply for an internship credit are available within the application.
