The staff at Rose Hill would like to thank you for the support you are providing and the attempts you are making to continue your child’s educational growth. We are aware that a lot has been put on your shoulders with instructional packets, on-line learning, and the mere fact that the process has fallen primarily on your shoulders.
that in mind we would like to stress to you that it is not expected that your
child complete all of the work that is being suggested. In our attempt to meet
the needs of all students, we have provided an overwhelming amount of
information, resources, support material and the such. That said, we know that
it is impossible for a child to complete everything that we are sending your
way. On that note, we ask that you consider the following:
child has his/her strengths. Some students fair well working with paper pencil,
while others learn better by using technology. In some cases a child may do
well with both.
Please assess your child’s strengths, and make that his/her primary focus of learning over the next few weeks. If you need guidance or support in determining your child’s best method of learning, please reach out to his/her teacher. We are willing to assist with that determination.
Whether pencil/paper, technology based, or both, moving forward please limit your child’s work time to no more than 2 hours a day. Keep in mind that the amount of work produced by children will be different based on their personal needs.
One of the most important elements of all is that you, the parent, stay in touch with your child’s teacher. Please communicate what method and mode of learning your child is engaged in, and please reach out for assistance for any of your child’s learning needs.
We want to thank you again from the bottom of our hearts for all you are doing for your family, and especially for your child’s educational needs.
safe, and stay healthy.
