Are you too sick?

Every day matters at school. Together we can maximize the time all children are healthy and ready to learn by taking a few steps to prevent the spread of cold, flu, and COVID-19.

***Students must be symptom AND fever free WITHOUT the use of medication for 24 hours to return to school*** 


Children who exhibit the following symptoms should stay home from school:
  • Anyone one with a fever over 100.4 degrees
  • Vomiting
  • Any symptoms that prevent him/her from participating in school activities
  • Excessive tiredness or lack of appetite
  • Productive coughing or sneezing
  • Headache
  • Body aches
  • Earache
  • Sore throat

COVID-19 MONITORING 
Reynoldsburg City Schools School Nurses will take a primary role in letting students and staff know when they need to stay home due to symptoms of COVID-19. We ask that all families monitor symptoms and keep students home until they are asymptomatic. 

Symptoms of COVID-19:
  • Fever or chills
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Fatigue
  • Muscle or body aches
  • Headache
  • Loss of taste or smell
  • Sore throat
  • Congestion or runny nose
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Diarrhea
  • Repeated shaking with chills
