Yearbook Orders UN-Cancelled!! (Happy face!!)

Strike that. Reverse it. Thank you. (From "Willy Wonka")

Hello Taylor Road Families,

Great News!!
Inter-State Studios has agreed to print the Taylor Road Elementary Yearbook after all!! If you previously ordered and paid for a yearbook, your child will receive his/her yearbook in August when we return to school (don't worry, we will find our soon-to-be-5th graders). If you would still like to order a yearbook, Inter-State Studios is extending the yearbook order (ONLINE ONLY) through THIS FRIDAY, MAY 28TH.  To order a yearbook, click on:
Enter yearbook online order code: 56025B (<<that is a zero, not the letter "o")

We are so sorry to inform you that this year's yearbook order has been cancelled. Inter-State Studios will not print yearbooks unless a school sells at least 75 yearbooks.  Unfortunately, less than 50 yearbooks were ordered at Taylor Road, so Inter-state Studios will not print them. If you ordered a yearbook for your student, here is how you will be refunded:

If you paid online, your payment will be credited back to your account.  This usually takes 7-10 business days.

If you paid with a check or cash, Inter-State Studios will print your refund in the form of a check and those will be sent to school.  Once they arrive, you will be contacted to see how you would like to receive your refund; it can sent home with your student or picked up at the front office - whichever you prefer.

If students purchased a classroom composite picture, those will still be printed and sent to the school.  Once they arrive, we will distributed to teachers to pass out to students who ordered one.

Please contact Mrs. Wyandt in the front office with any questions/concerns you may have at 614-367-2930, or email [email protected].

Again, we are so so sorry for this unfortunate situation.

Return to ALL-IN, IN-PERSON Learning - March 15th!

Taylor Road Families!
Superintendent Dr. Melvin J. Brown has announced that students participating in the hybrid learning model will return to in-person learning FOUR days a week beginning Monday, March 15, 2021. Students that are currently hybrid will attend school in-person Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Wednesdays will remain remote for all students except those enrolled in Preschool or one of the district's Learning Centers. Those students will attend school five days per week.
To read Dr. Brown's letter to families, click on the format you prefer:

A number of parents have requested that their students remain virtual. We’re happy to honor their wishes while still involving virtual students in classroom activities and collaboration with their classmates.

Part of the communication included sending an updated Parent and Student Guide to Learning. That document is attached and you can also find it on our website at reyn.org under "For Parents" and "For Students."
The Parent and Student Guide to Learning is designed to support and help both parents and students successfully navigate the 2020-21 school year. Whenever the guide is updated, we send out the new version and update the website.

While this document is quite detailed, we hope you find the protocols outlined useful in guiding you regardless of the model that is being followed. Appendix G, in particular, has been updated with new social distancing guidance from Franklin County Public Health.

Thank you for taking the time to review this guide. You may click on the link below, or on the "Return to ALL-IN, IN-PERSON Learning" tab near the top left of this page. We are looking forward to March 15th!

Notification from RCS Supt. Melvin Brown

Tornado families,

Our staff at TRE misses our students terribly but, in order to help keep them safe and healthy we will be closed until at least May 1st. This is per Governor DeWine's latest orders issued today.

The work previously provided to students is enough to sustain them until April 9th. We will be working later this week with our team to develop plans on how to deliver further instruction during this extension.

We appreciate the grace and understanding you have given us thus far! We ask for your continued patience while we figure out the best way to serve students during this unique time. Give our kiddos hugs and know we will share with you as soon as we are ready. Stay safe and healthy TRE families!
