Reynoldsburg City Schools Communications and Community Outreach
Reynoldsburg City Schools' Department of Communications and Community Outreach plays a crucial role in the District for managing internal and external messaging including:
  1. Public Relations/Media Relations
  2. Internal and External Communications
  3. Marketing and Branding
  4. Website and Social Media Management
  5. Crisis Communications
  6. Event Management and Planning 
  7. Collaboration with the Superintendent's Executive Cabinet, and all RCS employees
Valerie Wunder, Executive Director of Communications and Outreach has more than 25 years experience with internal, external and crisis communications. She has worked in corporate communications, agency and education. Valerie worked in the Communications Department of US Airways when flight 1549 (The Miracle on the Hudson), made a historic water landing in the Hudson River. She worked for Reynoldsburg City Schools from 2017-2022 and returned to the District and the Raider Family in 2024. Originally from Maryland, Valerie is an equestrian, and PEZ collector and graduated from Mary Washington College in Fredericksburg Virginia with a bachelor of arts degree in Political Science.

Brandon Mullins, Communications Coordinator is an Ohio native, growing up in the Hocking Hills area. He has several years of communications experience and previously worked with Reynoldsburg City Schools as an agency partner before joining the team in 2024. Brandon is a graduate of Otterbein University and enjoys learning new languages and considers himself a foodie.
