Phenomenal Turnout for Spaghetti Dinner and Art Show!

On March 19th, families in Reynoldsburg enjoyed spaghetti dinner, browsed student
artwork, shopped the book fair, and entered raffles for themed baskets, as well as collaborative artwork! There were more than 35 themed baskets and items for auction, including a free year membership to the zoo, passes to The Works, movie certificates, lunch with the principal for a student and three friends, a science experience with Mrs. Gaughenbaugh for a student and four friends, and more.

Nearly 450 students and their families attended the event, including a visit from board member Mr. Hayes. Each student had at least one piece of art in the show and was able to take it home with them after the show. In addition, each child collaborated on a group project that was then auctioned off at the art show.

All together, the spaghetti dinner and art show brought in $2,400, plus an additional $2,800 profited from the book fair! It was a great evening for families to spend time eating together and enjoying the artwork of their child and our Summit Community!

We would like to give a huge thank you to Mrs. Reynard, the spaghetti dinner and art show chairperson, Mrs. Burke, the PTO president, Mrs. Patterson, the PTO secretary, and Mrs. Gaughenbaugh who worked with the children to complete an individual piece of artwork and a collaborative piece, the teachers for helping with the event and all the parents for their donations for the themed baskets, as well as for helping with different parts of the evening.
