First Female Reynoldsburg Football Player is a Kicker

Alexis Sheffield heard the freshman football team was looking for a kicker, so she tried out and made the team. So far this season, the freshman team is 4-0 and their kicker is making an impact on the field in games.

Sheffield has always been a talented athlete, playing a lot of sports growing up. When it came time for her to focus more time on a single sport, she chose soccer and made the Reynoldsburg varsity team as a freshman. Then she heard the freshman football team needed a kicker.

Having never done it before, padded up and stepped on the field to try out.

Lexi made the team and history becoming the first female to play football at Reynoldsburg.
