Dear Reynoldsburg City Schools Families,

We are excited to welcome our students back to school via our Hybrid Model on Monday, September 21, 2020. To help you and and your children make the switch easily, the RCS Center for Deeper Learning has created the 2020-21 Hybrid Model Transition Plan. This document, in conjunction with the Parent and Student Guide to Learning will help you make the transition from online to in-person learning.

This document is very detailed, so please review it carefully. We also wanted to highlight several important points:
  • The first day of the hybrid model begins Monday, September 21, 2020
  • The 2020-21 Hybrid Transition Plan includes information on:
    1. Facial Coverings
    2. Arrival, Dismissal and Bus Procedures
    3. Information about Breakfast and Lunch
    4. Hybrid Schedules for Elementary, Middle and High School

For us to feel comfortable implementing our hybrid or all in models, we would like to see four to six weeks of decline in COVID19 cases in Franklin County. The time between now and September 21st allows us to watch the numbers for movement; if the numbers start to increase and we do not feel comfortable implementing our hybrid model, we will notify our families as soon as possible and continue online schooling as is.

Also, on Monday, September 21st, those that have enrolled in the RCS Virtual Academy will begin their online schooling.  We sent a separate communication to those families last week.

We know that there is a lot of information and it is changing at a rapid pace. Please take the time to read the communications we send carefully, as many of the questions we are asked are answered in the communications we send.

To get the most up-to-date information from Reynoldsburg City Schools, please visit reyn.org>>COVID19 UPDATES
If you have any questions, please reach out to your Principal.

We look forward to seeing everyone the week of September 21st!
Sincerely,
